Volkl Catapult 3 (Generation II) : Racquet Composition and Technologies : Graphite racquet features Catapult Technology which ultimately yields 30% more power and 30% more control. The Catapult rests on the racquet frame and is energized when “pre-loaded”. Therefore, the string installation activates the Catapult. Power Phase (Release Time) : At the point when the Catapult is loaded to its maximum efficiency, the dynamic resetting of the Catapult accelerates the resetting of the string-bed. Power is further enhanced by the release of the retained ball energy. As a result, the release-time is greatly shortened, and creates up to 30% more power.
