The Catapult rests on the racquet frame and is energized when “pre-loaded”. Therefore, the string installation activates the Catapult. Power Phase (Release Time) : At the point when the Catapult is loaded to its maximum efficiency, the dynamic resetting of the Catapult accelerates the resetting of the string-bed. Power is further enhanced by the release of the retained ball energy. As a result, the release-time is greatly shortened, and creates up to 30% more power. Control Phase (Receive Time) : As the ball hits the string bed, the spring compresses and energizes or “loads” the catapult. This enables the ball to stay on the string bed longer, thus creating a deeper pocket. The increase in receiving time results in 30% more control.
