Yonex RDX300 (Performance Racquet) Racquet Composition and Technologies: New Hexagon Cross Section is for solid feel and nimble maneuverability. By uniting box and triangular shape sections, a solid feeling at impact has been realized by providing better head speed and maneuverability. Flex/Torsion Control Shaft produces more powerful shots with solid stability. Memory Titanium, which is loaded into the shaft, has twice the force of restitution than that of normal graphite. The result is a superior resiliency, which converts the torsion into a higher repulsion power that effectively returns the speed of any ball. Also the front width of the shaft has been widened by 14% compared to conventional racquets. The simultaneous pursuit of greater repulsion power and better maneuverability results in the most solid shots while taking a full swing. Large Sweetspot - Power, control and a large sweetspot without increasing frame dimensions. With more strings of equal length and a larger effective hitting area in the stringbed, the YONEX Isometric Square Head Shape provides consistently accurate shots, giving more power, control and forgiveness on off-centre hits. Grommets on the side and bottom of the frame absorb shock to provide a soft feel on impact, helping protect the wrist, arm and elbow against shock-induced injures and minimize muscle fatigue in long play. More spin - OPS balances stability and flex, and extends dwell time for more spin. OPS (Oval Pressed Shaft) technology provides the right amount of flex at the throat for a longer dwell time, more spin and pinpoint accuracy. Solid feel - greater mass maximizes frame stability for a solid feel, power and control. The metal hybrid material has a mass ten-times-greater than H.M. Graphite and maximizes racquet stability. More stability provides more power and consistent control. Grip: Super Cushion Grip for comfort. Swing/Player Type: The midplus, 98” headsize is recommended for intermediate players targeting quicker response. The 98” frame and slightly flexible shaft gives intermediate players the play advantage of a soft feel and high repulsion in a racquet that is easy to maneuver.
